It is with great excitement that we get to announce that Kris is joining the team at The Velvet Rope Hair Studio and will begin offering services on 4/6/2026!!! They are up and running with online booking!!

Kris is passionate about creating and maintaining a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all humans. They believe hair is a powerful form of self-expression and are dedicated to helping each client feel seen, affirmed, and confident.

Specializing in razor cuts, creative color, and curly hair, Kris brings both technical skill and artistic vision to every appointment. They are excited to collaborate with clients in expressing their individuality and helping you feel more like yourself through your hair.

We have a bunch of Loma Kits in for the holidays. Great deal at $50 a box. Each box comes with a 12oz shampoo, 12oz conditioner, 11.5oz body wash, and 8oz lotion.

Great news!! Loma Liters are back in stock. We have a good quantity of Moisture Duos. We have limited number of Daily, Nourishing, and Violet, but we can order more this month during the special!!

Casey has returned full time to the salon!! Her schedule has been updated for online booking!! We are so excited to have her back full time with us!!

Just a heads up: there is construction happening on State street near Ellis street. They are going to be replacing the bridge there. Please plan for detour if you are coming to the salon down state street. Please see the city’s detour map for alternative routes.

We are supper happy to support our local community and help young artists in the community. We recently had 3 paintings in the salon (now 2) by this young artist. For all of the people who have inquired about the art, you can now own your own. Check out Dean’s website to purchase your own!!
