If it wasn’t for the inaugural Rockin’ Yule Bizarre that took place in December 2016, the Anacortes Music Project may have never come to fruition. But thanks to a group of friends who had the bright idea to bring light to the darkest time of the year in the form of a holiday hoedown featuring a lineup of local musicians, the intention to form the nonprofit dedicated to amplifying the music and musicians of Anacortes was set in motion.
