Instrument pilots!

As our gloomy winter weather arrives, it’s important to keep your IFR skills sharp and maintain your currency. If you did not already know, our Gleim BATD is an FAA approved training device which is certified to meet various requirements including logging approaches and holding for your instrument currency.

The simulator rate is $45 per hour and available to book on Flight Schedule Pro. It is an easy, cost effective way to practice while maintaining your proficiency. It can also be used to great effect for VFR pilots to practice skills or to review an unfamiliar area or airport.

The aircraft and cockpit layout is based on our Cessna 172 prior to the new panel upgrade in N75844. It features six pack traditional gauges with both the Garmin 530 and 430 Nav/Com avionics.

Command Aviation is beginning a new summer social series featuring free ground school evenings. Take a deep dive with us into a new topic on the first Thursday of each month! Informal, laid back, and fun. Beginning this Thursday, April 3, continuing throughout the spring and summer.
