Essential Lactation
Providing a full circle of care through comprehensive lactation and sleep packages. Lactation and infant feeding support. You deserve it.
I believe every family deserves expert support, which is why I offer the Full Circle Community Fund for equitable access. The decision to breastfeed/chestfeed your baby is one of the most important choices you will make as a parent. We recognize the commitment many parents make to offer this essential nutrition to their babies. We also know that breastfeeding/chestfeeding can be very challenging. This combination of commitment and challenge can create a great deal of stress in the early days and weeks postpartum. We offer gentle, non-judgmental, and compassionate care that helps you gain confidence while feeding your baby. Individualized, and comprehensive plans help you understand and encourage you to trust your body and your baby, as you learn your breastfeeding/chestfeeding dance together. We believe it is never too early or too late to get support.

The Full Circle Family Portal is something I’m really proud of!
If you’ve ever felt the call to Google or ask AI a question at midnight, I promise this is 10x (not a scientific number 😂) better. I have personally vetted or created every (90+) resource included and you can access it any time, FOREVER!
Plus you get:
- monthly Q&As on any topic related to feeding, sleep, newborn care, really anything goes
- monthly virtual peer support/office hours with me
- new guides and research break downs added all the time
$99 for lifetime access. I’d love to have you in the Circle 💗
(All Reset and Full Circle packages include access to this resource so if you haven’t accessed it yet and need help-message me!)

Don’t make a gift registry!
Make a support fund instead.
Most new families need village support, not things. You can ask your friends and family to contribute to a postpartum support fund instead of items. Then once your baby is here you can decide how to use their gifts!
If you have a car seat, diapers, and some onesies, you’ve probably got everything your baby needs for the first month. Plan for yourself too!

Here’s what I wish I knew about sleep when I was a new parent.
😴 Babies sleep longer on someone. We called our sleep group nap trapped for a reason. Especially the feeding parent, but really anyone! It’s soothing and womb-like for them to be snuggled while they sleep. You can absolutely take breaks from this and try out other safe sleeping surfaces, but most likely the nap will be shorter off of your body!
😴 Ok so the nap is short, now what? 30 minutes is a normal length of a newborn sleep cycle. Babies are really good at meeting their sleep needs when left to their own devices, no need to structure it.
😴Their days and nights will probably be flipped! You can help by providing them with 12hr of daylight (or inside lights) and 12hr of darkness. They don’t secrete their own sleepy hormone until 3-4 months of age. But your milk DOES have sleepy hormones!
😴 In the early days if your baby wakes up, you should probably offer a feed. If they’re not hungry they’ll tell you.
😴 My most favorite tip to share: you aren’t going to create “bad” habits by letting your baby fall asleep during feeds and honestly there’s really no such thing as snacking. Babies with good oral function will get their calorie needs met in 24hr following their own rhythm. That might be 12 or more feeds a day!
More questions? I love talking about sleep. Schedule a call with me today 💗
