Why the name Killdeer Cabin? While I was working on the cabin a Killdeer decided to put its nest at the base of the stairs. So I had no choice but to walk around the nest 🪺 every day. She was not happy with me at all. I made it deal with the little bird that we would name the cabin Killdeer cabin in honer of the nest. however that didn’t seem to stop her throwing a fit every time I walked by.
After lots of hard work I am pleased to announce the official opening of the Killdeer Cabin on August 6th, 2022. 😁😁😁
