- NEW YEAR IN APRIL...
I never made it to January this year.
Not really.
January came and went so fast, full of noise and lists and the pressure of a fresh start that somehow didn't feel fresh at all. And so I waited. Not on purpose. Life just kept moving, the way it does.
But something has shifted recently. A quiet decision.
A small, honest commitment to myself.
And I thought — why not now?
Not January. Not Monday. Not when things calm down or when the timing feels right.
Now.
Because here's what I've learned, after all these years:
The women who change their lives don't always start on the first of January with a perfect plan. They start on a random Tuesday in April, or a slow Sunday in September, or a Wednesday morning when something inside them simply says — enough of waiting.
My resolutions didn't start on January 1st.
They're starting now… today.
And if yours didn't either, I want you to know — you haven't missed anything.
You're right on time.
The only version of late that truly exists is never starting at all.
