🪴The postpartum journey looks different for every mom. It’s important to remember that you’re allowed to have good days and beautiful moments, as much as you can be feeling lonely and exhausted. Both are real and human. You’re still a good mom!
Check in on the moms going through the postpartum phase, they need to feel seen and heard. It isn’t just about holding the baby, hold the mom too 🤍

🌿When was the last time you felt you could be yourself in a place or with a group of people? If you often feel tense and need to hide your true self, it is time to walk away.
Lack of showing up authentically can lead to heightened anxiety, low self-confidence, stress, depression, self-doubt and emotional exhaustion.
You deserve to be in safe places and surrounded by people who welcome your authentic self. Don’t settle for less 🤍

🪴 We often hear people telling moms to “enjoy every moment,” which may be well intended, however, it’s an unrealistic expectation that puts pressure on moms. Motherhood has beautiful moments and also challenging seasons that are not too enjoyable. Wherever you find yourself today, you’re a good mom having a human experience 🫶🏽
🪴 A menudo escuchamos a la gente decirles a las mamás que “disfruten cada momento”. Aunque la intención puede ser buena, traza una expectativa poco realista que ejerce presión sobre ellas. La maternidad tiene momentos hermosos como también etapas desafiantes que no se disfrutan mucho. Sea cual sea el punto en el que te encuentres hoy, eres una buena mamá viviendo una experiencia humana 🫶🏽
