It's been a minute. Although I am not blogging about my jaunts these days I am still doing them. This is one of my favorites. Start at Grand Central Bakery on Eastlake. I mean why wouldn't you start at a good bakery? There is a lot of free street parking. Go up the Howe Street stairs. There are a lot of them. Keep walking straight and go around the outside of Lakeview Cemetery. Cross the street and go right. Visit the park with the beautiful view out over Lake Washington. Cross the road again and enter Lakeview Cemetery. Explore! So much Seattle history in here. This is also where Bruce Lee and his son Brandon are buried. Exit and go right. Turn right into Volunteer Park. Explore and stay a while. Exit the South end by the brick water tower. Go right and walk until 10th. Go right on 10th. Walk to Blaine Street. Turn left. Go down stairs until you see the freeway above you. Go right and then go back down the bottom of the Howe Street stairs. It's about 3 miles. Depends how much wandering you do. Enjoy!

Happy 4th of July! Grand Old Fourth on Bainbridge Island is a tradition for me. Fun family friendly hometown celebration including pancake breakfast, dunk tank, bands, a parade and so much more. Make your plans to go find it next year.

I'm still out jaunting about my lovely city just not posting much. Showed a mom and daughter from Vegas around the city 2 weekends ago. As always message me if you have questions. I'm still here and happy to assist if I can.

I was just talking with a friend about cocktail bars in Seattle. What's your favorite one? If you haven't made it up to the new one, almost a year old now, at the top of Smith Tower here is a coupon for 20% off. It's an all around great Seattle experience. History, gorgeous building, 360 degree views, and cocktails. I love it up here. Enjoy!
