Walk in the 2012 Seafair Torchlight Parade as a Metro Operator

Metro Marketing is looking for volunteers to walk along with a RapidRide coach in the parade.
Family members will be allowed to ride in the coach. To participate in this enjoyable event and
represent Metro, consult the informational poster at your base or contact Deborah Brockway at
206-296-1927 or [email protected].

Maybe Willie will lend you his cape!

Please be aware that seat belt enforcement is being stepped up!

Safety belt law
The Washington Safety Belt law (RCW 46.61.688) requires both lap belt and shoulder harness
buckled in coaches so equipped. If an operator has a physical or medical condition that prevents
wearing a seatbelt shoulder harness, there must be written verification from a licensed physician.
Seatbelt shoulder harness exemptions are valid for no more than one year. Forms are available at
your base. Service Quality monitors for compliance. PRs will be written for observed violations.
