What an incredible evening at Sunset’s Culture & Heritage Fair! 🌎✨

Thank you to all the families, students, volunteers, and performers who helped bring this event to life. From country booths and cultural displays to hands-on activities, it was a wonderful celebration of the many cultures and traditions that make our Sunset community so special.

A highlight of the evening was the energetic Taiko drumming performance, which had the crowd captivated!

Thank you to everyone who joined us—we loved learning, sharing, and celebrating together.

Culture Fair is this Friday! 🌍✨
Come explore and learn about cultures from around the world and enjoy a special Taiko Drumming performance.

Camp Osprey was a huge success! 🌲✨

Our 5th graders spent two unforgettable nights hiking, learning about the local watershed and environment, making s’mores, performing skits, leading camp chants, making new memories, and even getting a little sleep. 😊

A special highlight was spending time with the amazing mentors from Issaquah High School.

Thank you to all the families who donated, helping make camp affordable and accessible for every student. We’re also grateful to our administrators, 5th-grade teachers, parent volunteers, fundraisers, and chaperones who made this experience possible.

What an incredible way to wrap up elementary school—we know these are memories our 5th graders will never forget! 💙

📚 Eager Reader success!
Students enjoyed a cozy read-in last Friday, complete with finger lights and great books. Every student also picked out a brand-new book to take home and add to their personal library.

Complete Your Family Crest!
Our PTA Culture & Heritage Fair is on Friday, June 5! Family Crest templates were sent home in backpacks last week.

Students are invited to decorate their crest with images and words that represent their family’s culture. Crests will be displayed throughout the school during the fair. Please return completed crests to your teacher before June 5.
