Hey everyone! Our friends, at Coker CoOp, are creating Crocodile Dance, a 2D/3D animated thriller about a Nigerian musician who must confront the curse of a Mami Wata to save her family.
This Africanfuturist film reimagines the origin story of the Mami Wata, West Africa’s most feared and revered monster goddess.
The campaign has already raised over $20,000, and they'd be honored to have you join the dance. Backers can unlock exclusive rewards, including a stunning 120-page art book, an illustrated novella exploring Roukia’s mysterious past, and an original Afro-symphonic soundtrack by composer Nathan Miniere.
It’s mythology, music, and monsters colliding in a neon-lit Nigerian coastal town. The campaign ends December 12th!
