Now available for everyone on Robot Mesh Studio https://www.robotmesh.com/studio is the mimic arena project type.
If you’ve used Robot Mesh Mimics before, you will be familiar with how you can construct a robot within the mimic editor and control it with your program. Now with Mimic Arenas, you can construct the arena separately from the robot and share it with your students and friends.
Moreover, mimic arenas can contain logic, written in JavaScript for controlling game timers, scoring and movement of arena components.

2.) We have Improved mimic startup performance (particularly for users on slower internet connections).
Further improvements will be coming soon!

Introducing Robot Mesh Virtual Academy.
https://www.robotmesh.com/virtual-academy
Robot Mesh is announcing the soft launch of its brand-new Virtual Robotics Academy.
The idea is that a teacher or student without any previous programming experience can learn to program a virtual VEX robot (IQ and very soon V5) by playing through a series of guided tutorials.
There’s no reading involved. Each successive lesson uses a Mimic (simulation) of the VEX hardware to introduce a new programming block, concept, or sensor in a set of increasingly more interesting challenges.
The code that gets created during these demos can also be downloaded to a physical robot should one be present.
Best of all, you and your students will be learning how to program a VEX robot using a tournament legal programming environment.
This was something that we were hoping to debut at VEX Worlds in April, but the school closures have provided an opportunity for this soft-launch.
We will be adding new content weekly, and would love to hear your feedback. Tell your friends!
For a limited time, Robot Mesh Virtual Academy is free to use.
