Early this morning, Bloodworks Northwest offered United Blood Services in Las Vegas emergency blood components to treat those injured in the horrific shooting Sunday night. While, as of 7:45 this morning, UBS's immediate hospital requirements are being met, we expect to be called upon in the days ahead.

We're urging local donors who have not donated recently—regulars and first-timers—to help build our local blood inventories by donating this week so we can be ready to respond when shipments to Las Vegas are needed. Thank you for your support.
