Happy New Year everyone! Sad to not be preparing for hundreds of people to ring in the New Year but happy to have known all of you!!

Wow, I am not quite sure how to put 37 years into a single paragraph or 2 but let me start by saying thank you to the many hundreds of thousands of people who have passed through the doors of the Diamondback Saloon, Stetsons, and Rafters. It has been an amazing journey filled with tons of fun, laughter and great music and amazing memories.
To all of the people who have worked here throughout the years a big thank you also. Your cheerfulness and hard work made for many special nights for those people as well.
To all of the musicians who have taken stage to entertain those people another heart felt thank you. Live music has always been a big part of what we have done here and your talents and love of music is what makes it all possible.
If you don’t already know the reason I am writing this is that I have sold the building and business. It’s time for me to retire and move on to some of the things I have been unable to do for the last 37 years.
The Diamondback officially closed Friday December 23, 2022. To the crowd of 700 plus people that actually did get in a big thank you for an amazing send off. To those that waited in an hour long line I am truly sorry and some days this building is just not big enough. For those who could not wait in the freezing cold but made that attempt, thank you for giving it the effort. It was a long line in bitter cold!!
To all of those amazing people who helped out like Jerry S., Shawn, Tripp, Jerry B., Randall, Pam, Chera, Shelly, Gabrielle, Tracy, Crystal, Karen, Stacy, and Jody and so many more thank you so much. It was definitely a crazy night and we could not have done it with out you.
To some of your dates who instead of getting a night on the town got a night of watching you work thank you!!
I know I missed a few from last night as the night was a whirlwind of people, party and huge emotions for myself and all of those who held this place close to their hearts.

I will never be able to thank all of the people who made this my home for so many years but hopefully you felt the love that surrounded us all each and every day!!
