This program survives not only because of our top notch instructor staff and the students, but departments that continue to donate needed items regularly. We recently received Fire Gear donations to replace old and damaged unsafe instructor gear. Huge thank you and much appreciation to these departments for continued support! Huge Thank You to Illinois American Water for the Grant award, it provided us with some instructor gloves and protective hoods, along with the Seek Thermal for student safety and learning!

Part-Time Fire Academy has transitioned out of the classroom into the heavy practical phase of training. Time to put the book skills to work. Ladders, ropes and knots, vehicle fires, and SCBA proficiency work tonight! @
