What a weekend! We’re still recovering, but we had an amazing time at Silent Weekend - making memories, new friends, and sharing lots of laughs. 🤟

Huge thanks to Warren “Wawa” Snipe for bringing your incredible energy and talent to this year’s event!

Thank you to our awesome counselors, volunteers, and Sign Club officers who worked so hard to make it all happen.

We’re proud of the community we continue to build through the Southwestern Illinois College Sign Language Studies Program.

UPDATE: The monkeys and goat have finally been located! 🐒🐐
And somehow… they’ve been learning sign language here at Southwestern Illinois College?? They’re preparing for a press conference to explain everything. We expect answers.

In the meantime, YOU can start learning too!!
Fall registration is now open:
• ASL 1 (SLS 101)
• Fingerspelling & Numbers (SLS 125)
• Non-Verbal Communication (SLS 100)
• Deaf Culture (SLS 110)
