This project is especially near and dear to our hearts. A fire last summer next door resulted in a complete re-build for an amazing human. We are beyond grateful to be able to help with this and get things back to working order.

We couldn't preserve as much as we wanted due to smoke damage, but the beautiful stairs will always remain. Our four-legged site supervisor come’s over to ‘Grandma’s House’ to check out the guys’ work in the evenings and help ensure construction quality is to the highest standard. Our team is amazing and we value all the work the trades have completed to date!

Before and After: A total Basement Reclamation

The Before: a one bedroom, compact layout struggling with disconnected areas and inefficient storage that contributed to low functioning rooms. A space that housed dimly lit asbestos tile and poorly insulated walls. A space filled with opportunity.

The After: a two bedroom, highly functional home. We prioritized thermal comfort, sound attenuation, strategic natural lighting and intuitive storage to transform this simple basement into a lasting solution.

Proof that Budget doesn't have to mean Basic.

For us, the weekend isn't an escape but an opportunity. We love what we do so much that the "drawing board" is our favorite place to be.

Sometimes, the most incredible ideas happen during the exploration phase. Today we are sharing a few conceptual alternatives we’ve developed recently. While these weren't the "final" picks for their specific sites, they represent a small volume of opportunity every site has.

Restoration work is about listening before designing. It's crucial to understand what the building was, what it's been through, and what it needs to become in order to historically preserve it.

We had the privilege of working on this popular Bozeman Historical House. Firm 5 assisted with design elements and the construction process. Huge thanks to Brett with Big Sky Plaster and Stucco Inc. & John with Furst Class Contracting for helping with this historical revitalization.
