Still playing catch up but our May Treasure State showing was just as strong as the April showing!

Tye and Mia won the cowhorse bridle class with a 73 and got second in the $5,000 open with a 72. Tye also tied for 4th on Royce in a very competitive open class both days of the show.

Brian held a steady 2nd in the $4,000 limited rider on Royce both days and continue to improve as a team each showing. Ashley and Cate got 3rd in the ranch horse class both days and Julia and Boo got a 2nd in the ranch horse and a 2nd in the $500 limited rider class (their second show!).

As always, we are proud of our team and always enjoy seeing improvements in both horses and riders!

The next bit of news we are behind on sharing is that Nicole Harvey finally found the perfect new home for her horse Remy! Remy has transitioned out of cow horse and into being a little girl’s English/dressage pony. This horse is an absolute unicorn and we are so pleased she will continue to be treated as one. 💖

We are very late posting any updates for the year. But that doesn't mean we haven't been out showing!

We would like to congratulate the members of our team who have participated so far. At the first TSCHA show, Tye and Sister tied for 1st in the $5k novice horse and were 2nd on Mia in the same class.

Due to a hauling injury, Brian was out his horse and Karen generously let Brian show Sister in the $4,000 limited rider class where they also secured 1st and 3rd place finishes. Marcia Cantrell had a PR with a score of 73 in the $5,000 novice horse non-pro!
Ashley and Cate not only stuck to their schooling plan but also took 3rd place both Saturday and Sunday in the Ranch Horse class.
During their first time ever cutting together, Julia and Boo placed 2nd in the $500 limited rider class and 2nd in the Ranch Horse class!

We are very proud of how our clients and horses did at the first show of the year and love working with the people we do.

I'm a bit late getting this out this year. But here is the overarching show schedule like what I made last year (per multiple requests)! Of course, it only includes the shows/clinics we are directly interested in. I know there are a whole host of other shows and clinics that might pertain to our group of people - sorry I did not include them all! Other resources I know of include the MT Quarter Horse Association, Gallatin Valley Working Equitation group, Rocky Mountain Breeders Association, 406 Arena in Vaughn, Holloway's Cow Horses, and Gary Cooper Performance Horses.

Although we will not be hosting any clinics of our own throughout the summer, we are of course available for individual or group lessons, will try to schedule some regular cow practices, and are happy to help anyone at shows! Reach out or feel free to grab either of us at a show, as we both enjoy helping others anyway we can and just want to see people have fun and succeed!
