Raising horses is a family affair, and the kiddos love Cruise as much as we do!
4yo stallion with less than 60 rides over 2 years due to injuries, but as easy-going as we could hope for. ☺️

Less than 10 rides back after over a year off, second time ever being steered with one hand, second time being roped off (1st time was 2 years ago), first time on the heel side. Cruise really takes everything we throw at him in stride. He tracked the dummy well, didn't need to be constantly held in position, and didn't give a wink about the rope.
He may be getting a slow start, but he's got a great mind.
Another child made special video. Cruise learning to get to his heeling spot without passing it. He really is a good boy.
In case anyone was wondering what having a 4 year old for a videographer was like. She tried her hardest. 😂 Anyway! Here's a clip of Cruise's first time on the heel side.

💥Cruise has an easy going attitude, a strong work ethic, and a desire to please - all of which made him great to start as a 2yo. He quickly picks up on new things, and retains them, even after long periods of time off. Unfortunately he was unable to go futurity due to injuries. He is slowly being brought back to riding, and we hope he will be able to compete in some way in the future, but only time will tell. We have no doubt that if he'd been given the opportunity, Cruise would've been outstanding in the arena.
