Firm Foundation In Christ Ministries
FFICM trains the Church on how to follow-up new believers.

On May 7th, the FFICM women's ministry stepped into a community on the edge of the jungle — a place locals warned was dangerous, since the dense cover gives thieves, kidnappers, and drug dealers a place to hide.
But trusting it was God's work, the team went anyway — and found a community hungry to listen!
Fourteen people heard the gospel that day, and two gave their lives to Christ. Another man re-dedicated his life and asked for prayer over his family.
This May, the women's ministry reached three communities like this one.
Please pray for them as they train local guides to walk alongside these new believers in the months ahead.

In chapter 5 of FFICM's Following Jesus Christ booklet, Rich teaches on communicating with God — and uses Hannah as a powerful example of someone who poured her heart out to Him. God heard her. And He answered.
God has the ability to help us. He cares, and He wants to.
For me, that's been deeply personal. God has shown up in ways I desperately needed — from a life-threatening case of appendicitis that went unnoticed for over a year, to specific and ongoing mental health struggles. I'm so grateful that He cares that much for me: that He listens, and answers in ways better than I ever could have expected or imagined.
— Stephanie R., FFICM Communications & Prayer Coordinator

Even when things are hard and painful, like a wiggly tooth causing discomfort because a new one is growing behind it, God is still with us! He is a Living Spirit who can be with us everywhere and cares deeply.

Praise report!
Last month, we asked you to pray for Mercy — and you did. She had been battling malaria, typhoid, anemia, dizziness, weakness, and high blood pressure, all compounded by an extraordinary season of grief: the loss of her grandmother, who had been like a mother to her since Mercy lost her own mother as a young child.
And in the midst of that mourning, two of her cousins were shot and killed by Fulani militia on their way home from the funeral.
The weight of what Mercy carried was immense. And yet — she is healing. Her health has improved significantly, and we give God all the glory.
Thank you for standing in the gap for her through prayer. It matters more than you know.

Thanks to your giving, FFICM Ethiopia is positioned to sustain and expand the work — through a youth ministry division, a strengthened women's ministry, and coordinators both in the main office and across Ethiopia's regions.
One of the candidates being considered as a youth ministry coordinator, was in Shashemene, training alongside Eskinder and Desta this week!
None of this happens without the grace of God — and partners like you!

Will you lift up our children's program in prayer?
Our writing team has been pouring themselves into developing lesson materials for children around the world — helping them truly know God, appreciate Him, and walk with Him every day.
They're nearing completion of the first lesson: Who God Is.
Pray for wisdom as we shape materials that can speak across many cultures — and pray every lesson draws children into the presence of their Father.

Thank you for covering FFICM with your prayers!
FFICM is heading to Hadero, Ethiopia this November for our 6th consecutive True Gospel Fall Conference — and God is already moving ahead of us!
Major Ethiopian denominations, including the largest church in the country, have formally rejected prosperity gospel teaching. A second has followed. More are expected. Your gift helped spark this chain reaction.
We're just $8,221.85 away from fully funding the Hadero conference by June 15th.
Every gift matters. Every dollar sent to Hadero is a declaration that the true gospel is worth proclaiming.

In Rich’s teaching Devotion to Christ, he highlights the unchanging character of Jesus: a joyous gift each believer has access to!
Jesus has displayed his love throughout the bible.
He multiplied the pieces of fish and loaves of bread.
He healed. He comforted.
He washed the disciples' feet, then he instructed his disciples to go out and display that same type of love to others!
Jesus is loving — so much so that He gave His life for you, offering eternal life in return.
Comment below what Jesus' love means to you or a time where Jesus' love has impacted you.
If this encouraged you, please share with someone who needs it.

Please pray for FFICM Ethiopia’s National Director, Eskinder, and head trainer, Desta, as they travel to Shashemene next week to train 60 pastors and church leaders from the Genet denomination.
Shashemene is a heavily Muslim-majority area, and they are requesting prayer for God’s protection, safety, and guidance throughout the training.
Please also pray that the pastors and leaders will be encouraged, equipped, and empowered to make disciples and share the gospel effectively in their communities.

Two years ago, FFICM went to Hosanna, Ethiopia to dismantle the predatory prosperity gospel. Here's what happened:
Leaders and citizens rejected it. When preachers tried to return, officials shut them down. Funding dried up.
The ground is holding — and now the impact is spreading to Hadero, where 25,000 people are waiting this November at just 40 cents per person.
We're only $8,221.85 from our goal by June 15th.
Every dollar goes further than you might imagine.
