Itβs National Donut Day!
A little sweetness for your feed, and maybe a reminder you needed today. π©

π³οΈβπPride Month & Mental Health Fact π
Did you know? Members of the LGBTQ+ community experience mental health conditions at higher rates than their peers, not because of who they are, but often because of the discrimination, stigma, and barriers to care they face. NAMI emphasizes that creating supportive, affirming communities can help reduce these mental health disparities and improve overall well-being.
This Pride Month, letβs celebrate authenticity, promote acceptance, and remind one another that mental health support should be accessible, inclusive, and free from discrimination for everyone. π
π You are seen.
π You are valued.
π You belong.
π²π World Bicycle Day ππ²
Today we celebrate the joy, freedom, and mental health benefits of riding a bicycle.
Did you know that even a short bike ride can help: β¨ Reduce stress β¨ Improve mood β¨ Increase focus β¨ Boost confidence β¨ Support overall mental well-being
For many neurodivergent individuals, cycling can also provide sensory regulation, movement, routine, and a chance to decompress from the demands of everyday life.
You don't need to ride for miles to benefit. A quick trip around the neighborhood, a ride through a local park, or simply getting outside for fresh air can make a difference.
Whether you ride every day, haven't been on a bike in years, or are thinking about giving it a try, today is a great reminder that movement doesn't have to look a certain way to support mental health.
π Tell us below: When was the last time you rode a bike?
πΈ Bonus points if you share a photo of your bike or your favorite local trail!
