Today was the Yeck’s Farm Family fun day! Cadets and their families were invited to celebrate fall with corn maze, bonfire, and hay ride! We thank the over 100 people who attended and hope everyone had an amazing time with both their JROTC and real families! Tickets were sold for $5 to cover the cost of pavilion rental, bonfire costs, and hayride tickets. All proceeds benefit the senior class and their hope of a senior trip! Just another way that Bobcats lead the way!

Beaver Area High School held its Senior Night ceremony Friday evening at 6:30 before the football game. The Honor Guard bridged the football field as the seniors proceeded down the 50 yard line, followed by the Color Guard’s presentation of colors afterward.

We extend our warmest congratulations to our seniors participating in our program: Ava Haverstock, Josh Dahma, Ezra Maize, Aiden Connelly, and Brady Young. Your accomplishments this year and throughout high school are truly impressive and we are proud of all of you!!

To add to this memorable event, the mighty Bobcats were victorious over tha Antelopes and secured a first round bye and a number 2 seeding in their conference. Congratulations all around! BOBCATS LEAD THE WAY!

Last week, we convened our inaugural Cadet and Leader Board for the 1st Quarter, and the Cadets demonstrated exceptional performance. This quarterly review featured four LET 1 Cadets - Aleena Vanucci, Jack Foster, Nico Rudi, and Bruce Sutter - vying for the Cadet Board, and two LET 2 Cadets - Emily Turyan and Zack McDermitt - competing for the Leader Board. Although only one winner could be selected at each level, all participants exhibited outstanding dedication. Congratulations to Cadets Bruce Sutter and Emily Turyan on their well-deserved wins, and accolades to all Cadets for upholding the motto ‘Bobcats Lead The Way!’ through their tireless efforts.

Here’s our October so far!!
On October 21st, our battalion launched its annual Leadership Lab series with a formal presentation of the Battalion leadership team and attendance. The spare time facilitated a spirited knockout and motto competition between Alpha and Bravo Companies. The following evening, we executed a sharp presentation of the National Colors during the Quaker Valley football game’s pink out event, culminating in the Bobcats’ 51-19 triumph. Consistent with tradition, our Cadets established the tone, upholding ‘Bobcats Lead The Way!’

On May 27th, the Bobcat Batallion marched in the Memorial Day Parade! The Memorial day parade highlights our small communities recognition to those who gave all in service to our great country. Our cadets look forward to this parade for many reasons, yet always in remembrance for those brave souls. This was our Seniors last event as they “Ride off into the sunset” on a float, throwing candy and having a blast for their final parade as cadets. Immediately after the parade, the Battalion made their way to the Beaver cemetery for the traditional Memorial Day Service in which we performed the presentation of the colors, and our Honor Guard folded the flag as Taps was being played beautifully by Trumpet players from the Beaver Area High School Band.

Today we held our Leadership day! For those who do not know what leadership day is, it is where our battalion holds an amazing opportunity to show 8th graders what JROTC is, how we manage things, what our positions are and what they do. We also show them our teams and letting them try our different stations of the teams! We had a color guard station, drum & Fife, Drill, Honorguard, archery, and Raiders station along with PT. At the very end of the day the 8th graders played team bonding games and overall had a great time!
