Beaver JROTC
Army JROTC program dedicated to motivating young people to become better citizens.
Happy Father’s Day to all of the awesome dads, Happy Heavenly Father’s Day to the Fathers who now rest with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and to the Fathers to be...with one “baking in the maternal oven”.
We all know how much our mothers mean to us, but Fathers carry a different kind of weight. We are the guides, the protectors, the steady hands shaping the next generation. We make mistakes, we learn, we adjust, and we keep showing up because that’s what Fathers do.
If you get an ugly tie… wear it. If you get an ugly sweater… wear it. Why? Because that’s what we do!
To every Father....present, future, or watching over us from Heaven, may today remind you that your effort matters, your presence matters, and your love leaves a mark that lasts long after the day is done.
And, of course the entire JCLC League 1 joining in harmony as chloe gets some!

The day wouldn't be complete if we missed the opportunity to celebrate a life completing one year and beginning the next, so from 2nd Brigade, League 1, we want to wish Chloe Quigley a very happy and wondrous Bornday and a fabulous trip around the sun!

This past week, cadets participated in the annual JCLC event, where they took part in a variety of exciting activities. Throughout the event, cadets challenged themselves by zip-lining, completing a challenge course, throwing axes, practicing archery, swimming, geocaching, biking, and kayaking. They also competed in Raider events that tested their teamwork, leadership, and physical skills. The experience helped cadets build confidence, make new friendships, and develop important leadership abilities while having fun outdoors. Congratulations to Jack O'Leary and Bruce Sutter for accomplishing first and second place in the Raider obstacle course event and congratulations to Sullivan Siget for being named Top Cadet.

🚨 ATTENTION 🚨
My name is Selah K and I'm your Raider Team Co-captain for the 26-27 school year! I'll be having a full week of voluntary practice sessions which will be conducted from June 22nd throught the 26th. The tentative time for practices will be from 1400 to 1500 (2:00pm - 3:00pm) at the H.S. track, located in the rear of the high school. These practices are designed to give the participants a good idea of the type of physical training activities and the level of fitness which will be required to make it to Zero Day, THROUGH Zero Day, and possible get selected for the competition team.
The workouts are open to anyone that is currently in, or has elected to join our Bobcat Battalion. Also, we are conducting these practices to attract our Battalion females in order to sustain our Mixed-Team and to possibly establish an All-Female team for the first time in our Battalions history. Again, the workouts are open to anyone in our program!! Bring friends! Nothing goes better than "Fitness and Friends" even if they're not currently interested in Raiders.
Please DM me so that we can connect. I would like to get a tentative head-count, so please contact me through DM or you can leave a message here, and I will respond. More details of times and workouts will be sent out once I have the final tally. We can also discuss transportation if that's an issue.
Please wear appropriate athletic attire, have water, and something to wipe the sweat off.....because there will be plenty of that!! Make sure to hydrate the day before and the day of practices!
I hope to see many Raider hopefuls there!!!!

As our senior cadets prepare for graduation, our hearts turn to the years we’ve shared; the early mornings, the long practices, the victories earned, the setbacks survived, and the countless moments that shaped them into the leaders they are today. Each of you arrived as individuals, unsure of your place, unsure of your strength. But together, you became something extraordinary.
Levin, Emma, Sandra, Jackson, Seth, Braden, Boyce, Kurt, Caleb, Madelyn, Nick, Jacob, Jake, Ehrin, Gianna, Duncan, Carter, Laine, and Nate ... you are not just names we call out at formation. You are the stories we will tell for years. You are the memories that will echo in these halls long after you walk across that stage. You are the heartbeat of this battalion.
We watched you grow.
We watched you struggle.
We watched you rise.
And somewhere along the way, you stopped being “cadets” and became family.
You led with courage when others needed direction.
You stood tall when the standard felt heavy.
You carried each other through moments no one else saw ... the doubts, the laughter, the whispered encouragement before stepping onto the drill floor or into life’s next challenge.
You built friendships that turned into bonds, and bonds that turned into a family that will last long after the uniforms are folded away.
We will miss you, more than you know.
We will miss your voices, your presence, your leadership, your grit, your humor, your heart.
But we will never forget the impact you made. You changed this program. You changed each other. You changed us!
Your journey now stretches beyond these walls, toward new challenges waiting to be faced and conquered. And you will conquer them, because you already have. You’ve proven your strength, your resilience, your character. You’ve proven that you can rise to any standard placed before you.
Wherever you go, whatever you do, remember this:
You will always have a home here.
You will always be part of this family.
And we will always be proud of who you have become.
As you step into the world, may you walk with courage that does not waver, with integrity that does not bend, and with a sense of purpose that does not fade.
May you face every challenge with the same fire you carried here.
May you rise after every fall with the same resilience you showed us.
May you lead with humility, serve with compassion, and stand with conviction even when you stand alone.
May your lives be marked by strength, by honor, by kindness, and by the quiet confidence of knowing where you came from, and who you became along the way.
And may every door that opens before you reveal a future worthy of the work you’ve put in, the sacrifices you’ve made, and the character you’ve built.
May you be protected in every step you take.
May you find peace in the storms and joy in the victories.
May you discover who you are meant to be — and have the courage to become it.
May your lives shine with purpose, with hope, and with the strength to lift others as you climb.
And may you always remember:
You were loved here.
You were valued here.
You were changed here, and you changed us.
Go forward with confidence.
Go forward with courage.
Go forward knowing you carry our pride, our gratitude, and our blessing.
You are forever ours ... and we are forever better because of you.
Nick finishing his half Marathon!
05/31/2026
Over the past weekend, Brady's Run held one of four "Rabid Raccoon" races. The races included a 5k, 2 half marathons, a 100k, a 100-miler, and different relay races. One of our seniors, Nicolas Miller, competed in 3 of those races.
Over the span of 36 hours, Nick ran a total of 29.3 miles. He ran a 5k on Friday night, a half marathon on Saturday morning and a half marathon starting at midnight. For the 5k, Nick won first place (in the male category and overall) with a time of 19 minutes and 12 seconds. Less than 12 hours later, he then won second place in his first half marathon with a time of 1:51:33. In the "Midnight Half Marathon", he took off ahead of his opponents to give himself a good lead. Nick kept that lead the whole time, and finished first in the male category and overall with a time of 1:59:18. Nick ended off the night with 6 combined medals from all 3 races.
We could not be more proud of Nick. His accomplishments are proof of the grit, determination, and work ethic he consistently displays. Nick leads by example, pushing himself to excel and inspiring those around him through his dedication, discipline, and commitment to success. Congratulations Nick!!
Bobcats Lead the Way! 🥇🏃

On Thursday of this week, cadets held their required Service Learning Project (SLP) where cadets spent a day working with 6th-grade students to introduce them to the different teams and opportunities available through the program.
The different stations included: the Raider Relay, Drill (discipline), Honorguard, Colorguard, and Drum n Fife. We had the barrel game which is a fun activity where kids linked arms and tried to pull each other into the barrel. We also had another bonding game called the "Minefield". This game is where one kid would have their eyes closed, and others would have to give commands to avoid the mines.
Kids were taught about teamwork, leadership, physical fitness, and the skills required to succeed on each team. It was a rewarding experience that helped build connections between the cadets and the next generation of potential team members. It was overall a huge success between happy kids and cadets. The energy and participation that the kids brought was through the roof. We thank all of the teachers who helped and gave us the opportunity to teach.
