A large part of our program includes providing academic support and professional development to our students! This week, we held two sessions for our local program: one on NCLEX prep, and another on tips for interviewing and managing conflict/ stress on the job.

Students in the Community: International student, Leyre, spent this past Three Kings Day face painting and sharing toys with the children of the municipality of Mata Palacio, Hato Mayor!

Kicking off the semester with our fun and fellowship event!

Last week, our local students and their mentors had some fun making charcuterie boards, taking some time to unwind and socialize before jumping into the semester ahead.

Students in the Community: One of our international students had an opportunity to volunteer with Sister Parish Ministry back in December.

“We went outside of Santo Domingo, to a zone called El Mamey, in Boca Chica. I was helping in the pharmacy area to translate in Spanish, Creole, and English.” -Miguelina

This past Tuesday, our local program held our hands-on learning event at The Atlee . Student's had the opportunity to connect with their mentor and get additional practice with inserting IV's, reading EKG's, performing manual blood pressure readings and more.
