Last weekend marked the end of an outstanding show career for a remarkable young lady and her family!

Kendall Hutchins has had one heck of a run. She was Grand Champion steer 4 times at the YPS County Show with a steer from Utopia Ranch. In fact, out of the 10 years she showed at YPS, she was Grand or Reserve Champion in all but 3 years. She wrapped up her show career making the sale at the 2026 Houston Rodeo and with third-place finish last Friday at the 2026 YPS County Show.

Thank you for all the hard work and awesome memories over the years. Keep kicking butt in life, Kendall!

This is Kendall’s senior year and her last time competing at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo—what a nice way to end a major show career with a bang! Kendall’s final show will be at YPS in Chambers County beginning of May!
