Side Quest Stitchery

This is the LapsangTea shawl by RedTeapotAtelier, and I used the Hobbii Sultan Deluxe yarn in the colorway Imperial Purple. It is SO soft and has a lovely drape. It’s 100% cotton, too. I can wear it as a shawl or on my head as a veil when I go to Mass.

I used Big Twist Vortex Bird of Paradise yarn and the pattern is the Arya Granny Hexa Sweater (Etsy)

It’s fun making cute little items for friends’ babies.

Take me back to the blizzard we had in January!
We rarely get snow (we often go years without any measurable amount) so having a full-fledged BLIZZARD was a big deal.
I will always remember the night the blizzard rolled in, sitting outside with my husband late at night and watching the snow fall as I crocheted a scarf for myself and sipped some hot tea. ☕️ 😌

I finally finished my Jack and Sally cardigan!

Red Heart Super Saver for everything except for Sally’s face and hair and I think that was Big Twist. Buttons from JoAnn. Pattern for the cardigan itself is Hobbii’s Horizon Cardigan

I lowkey want to figure out how to add a hood to it and the hood be either Oogie Boogie or The Mayor (my favorite character)

I just finished my daughter’s Halloween cardigan!

Pattern: Hobbii’s Horizon Children’s Cardigan. The sizing goes up to size 9-10 and I estimated what I needed to do to go up to size 11-12 for her.

Yarn: Big Twist Jack-O-Lantern, with Big Twist Black for the trim and cuffs.

Hook: Clover Amour 5.0mm
