Teaching Science for me is NOT a Profession.... it is MY passion! Wacki Science is a new and innovative place for kids to participate in science.

This exciting learning environment enables students, kindergarten through 5th grade, to learn scientific principles while having a blast! The focus is on fun as we introduce and develop unique opportunities to learn about such wonders as light, color, air, sound, electricity, magnets, and much more. These and other high interest topics provide hands on experiments so that children will be exposed to the scientific process.

🌱 Did you know that squash plants have both, male and female flowers? Let’s get to know the differences and benefits of each flower.

♂ Male Flowers will have very thin stems. Male flowers produce pollen which is important for the plant to grow.

♀ Female squash blossoms will be attached to the growing fruits of the plant. When the female flower is properly pollinated, they yield a bountiful harvest.

Male squash blossoms make for tasty culinary dishes. Harvest the first growing male squash blossoms early in the morning when the flowers are still open. Female flowers can be harvested as well but will reduce the yield of the plant.
