ATTENTION Lee County, within 2 days there has been 6 Overdoses linked to a batch of m**h laced with fentanyl. It is taking only a small amount of the drug to overdose however it is taking excessive amounts of Narcan to revive the patients. Contact your local health department for a FREE Naloxone kit!

There have recently been a number of drug overdoses in our area of the state, some of them fatal. Other areas of the state have experienced an increase in overdoses as well that have been linked to m**hamphetamine, he**in, and in some cases, prescription pills meant to like Percocet and Xanax, that have been laced with the powerful opioid cardentanil - an elephant tranquilizer. Each Kentucky River District Health Department county has free Naloxone available to the public. Please feel free to stop by and pick one up as access to it can be life saving.
