Join us on Thursday June 25th when author Dan Pruitt joins Reuben Simmons Jr. founder of I Am Beacon for a conversation about “Lost and Found: Beacon’s Black Community from 1850 to 1930,” a researched exploration of Beacon’s Black community that draws on census records, local history, and personal recollections to uncover stories that have too often been overlooked.
