Is Stained Glass one of your favorites? Have you ever seen it created? Magnolia Antiques will celebrate this August 10th Second Saturday with a live demonstration of the art of Stained Glass by Local Artist Cassandra Goldbold. Cassandra became interested in creating stained glass after retirement and after one continuing education course, she was hooked. She had a very talented mentor from whom she learned many special techniques and was able to purchase all the equipment necessary to seriously create stained glass art. Shortly after this, she and her husband relocated to Diamondhead, MS, and she was able to pursue and perfect her art form.

She’s also an accomplished watercolorist. She will display some of her work Saturday. Her watercolor art notecards are sold in Magnolia Antiques. These are a favorite of customers.

Magnolia Antiques is so fortunate to host Cassandra Goldbold in our shop and have her beautiful art decorate our Main Street windows. Magnolia Antiques is a treasure trove of gorgeous antiques and one-of-a-kind collectibles; but, there’s hardly anything new in the shop except for the original stained glass art and watercolors created by Cassandra.

Please come meet Cassandra and see for yourself the difficult and time-consuming process in the art of creating stained glass. She will demonstrate during Second Saturday Artwalk at Magnolia Antiques, 200 Main Street, from 2-6 p.m.
