This house has been in my husband’s family since his Pa built it himself in 1965. My mother in law grew up here. Her bedroom was the same one my oldest daughter sleeps in now (until she goes to college in August 😢). We remodeled and have added on a lot since we moved here in 2013 but the bones are still the same.

Sitting on this porch, I think about all the love and memories this house has held over the years. The laughter it has heard and the tears it has calmed. My husband’s grandparents would be so proud of what we have done with the old place and the dreams being fulfilled here every day. 🥰
