We are the only Franciscan university in the deep south. We empower our students, faculty, and staff in service, education, development of their faith and spirituality in the quest for truth for the good of society (Ex Corde Ecclesiae 30). We inspire students to explore their vocations through our core values of service, reverence and love for all life, joyfulness of spirit, humility; and justice.

Thank you students and faculty of FranU ! This is my last day as your Director of campus ministry ! It has been such a blessing to do God’s work with you. Thanks for allowing me to journey with you during some of the most challenging times in my 8.5 years . We survived the 2016 flood, multiple megahurricanes, and most of all the pandemic! God is with us! He loves us! He will always get us through any struggle: pray, stay close to Him, build holy friendships, and serve the least. Be aware of those around in your community who suffer and be a provider, support them. Because of my service and prayers with you, I am a better witness to those I will continue to serve . I have seen the diversity of God’s kingdom through you and it is beautiful! God bless and continue to pray with God’s word so you may have your own encounter ! Pax Bene, Tammy Vidrine
