Today received this beautiful arrangement of flowers .... the card said “take time for yourself and stop and smell the flowers! You would think that the flowers were the best part of this gift but what made them so special was who sent them to me! You see Saturday a very special girl boarded her flight and set off to Fort Bliss , where she will be stationed for the next year!! I have watched and Been a part of her life since she was a teen , she danced through the studio with a bold brightness .... she was ready to graduate high school and came to me with a question ..... she became a soldier .... myself and other dances traveled to watch her complete basic training.... she came home and back to school and work she went, teaching dance with me , drills .... she is one tough cookie.... José and I were blessed to have her live with us for a while, as she needed to save up to make it on her own!! She did it and we are so proud of her!!! My heart was sad knowing she was leaving .... we didn’t get a proper fair well .... I texted her a note that I had written and reassured her that we are always on her side..... what a beautiful woman .... she leaves and sends me flowers ... I love you Tori Blouin! My soldier my dancer!!! Stay safe and will see you soon
