LSU Ag Business Club

Last Thursday, the LSU Agribusiness Club hosted its annual banquet for its members and department faculty. We were lucky enough to share a wonderful meal together with great company and reflect on the year’s achievements and memories made.

We want to thank the graduating seniors for sharing their time with the club and wish them best wishes for life after graduation. Additionally, we want to show our appreciation to the previous officer team for their devotion and effort put forth towards bettering the club!

Save the date!! This Thursday, May 4th, join the Agribusiness Club as we tackle our last event of the school year for our annual banquet. You can expect fun, food, and friends as we reflect on our best memories and recognize members!

As the semester comes to an end, we celebrate our graduating agricultural business seniors at the LSU College of Agriculture’s Senior Send-Off!

The Agribusiness Club at LSU was nominated this year for a 2023 Love Purple Live Gold Award! This award received over 300 nominations across 16 award categories highlighting the awesome work done by organizations and fellow Tigers in the LSU Community. We are thankful for this opportunity and our members who contribute so much to our campus through their service, leadership, and teamwork!

What a fun night attending the Tiger Chapter Ducks Unlimited Crawfish Boil! Great to see so many of our members attend and show their support!

Dress for Success showed undergraduate students the opportunities available to them after graduation and received advice from both current students and students that have graduated from our program! We would like to give a special thank you to our speakers Whitney McKinzie, Mimi Rivette, C**t Hardee, Gabriel Bell, and Westin Cobb!

April 6th, at 5:30 the Agribusiness Club will be hosting their Dress for Success event! This is open to all students in or out of the College of Agriculture. We will have some senior students who have job after graduation, as well as alumni, speak on the degree program and how it has helped them in their early careers. They will answer questions and give brief description on what their life will look like after graduation.

Today the Agribusiness Club at LSU traveled to Holden, Louisiana to tour C&M Alligator Farm! A special thanks to our member Tabitha Lobell for this unique and great opportunity✨

Last week our members attended the March GEAPS Meeting in Laplace where they continued building their networking and industry knowledge!

Look no further! Join us for the GEAPS meeting taking place this Thursday, March 9th in Laplace, Louisiana. We will be carpooling to the event together from campus. The event starts at 6:30pm, so we will be leaving campus a couple hours before then. Casual professional dress attire.
