Hey Capital Heights Neighbors! Join us for the first-ever CHNA Neighborhood Dog Show on Saturday, August 8th, 6-7:30 PM at Parish Pets. Fun and treats for humans and dogs! Come meet the canines of Capital Heights!

Capital Heights neighbors are invited to attend CHNA's Annual Meeting which will be held on Sunday July 19th at 4:00 PM at Ingleside Methodist Church. Snacks and snowballs will be provided by InglEats.

The agenda will include updates on current and upcoming initiatives & activities, a report from the Capital Heights Crime Prevention and Improvement District, elections for CHNA board positions, and time for public comment.

Interested in serving on the neighborhood board? Or know someone who is? Submit a nomination! Officers serve a two-year term, with eligibility for consecutive terms. There are no term limits.

Nominations and topics for the meeting agenda can be submitted either before the meeting by email to [email protected] or in person at the beginning of the Annual Meeting.

Emailed nominations should include: the position, the nominee's first and last name, email address, and phone number.

Voting will take place at the Annual Meeting. A slate of nominees will be presented with nominations also accepted from the floor. Newly elected officers will be installed before the close of the meeting.
