Isomag Corporation
Pioneers in magnetic face sealing. AN INNOVATIVE APPROACH TO
FLAT-FACE SEALING. Isomags are used in critical, payload applications throughout the world.
Isomag Corporation, founded in 1994, was established in response to the global need for an improved rotating equipment lubrication seal in both static and dynamic applications. Since that time, Isomag has been committed to researching, understanding, and perfecting magnetic energy sealing specific to lubrication systems. Our innovative approach to flat-face sealing uses the unique closing force of
Air conditioned Manufacturing facility finished product support. Manual magnet press operator with additional responsibilities and the ability to grow into other roles.

Methods For Monitoring Bearing Performance - Maintenance Technology A range of traditional and advanced options are available to help you monitor your bearings. Don’t disregard any of them. By Galen Burdeshaw, Baldor Electric Co. The health of your bearings is critical to the health of your equipment and processes. With proper performance monitoring, imminent failures can be identified and corrected. Conversely, without a sound …

How to Determine Bearing System Life Typically, answers to these questions might include: “The end of life comes when the bearing or bearings are no longer fit for their intended purpose,” or “When it stops rotating.” Unfortunately, these answers are neither specific nor adequate.

Detecting Premature Bearing Failure Bearing manufacturers have long been aware of the relationship of heat to bearing life and have designed formulas to accurately calculate safe operating temperatures. The results show a temperature band in which both bearings and lubricants will operate at peak performance with the least stress. Once outside the ideal temperature range, they will degrade at an accelerated rate. So how do you interpret temperature readings, and how should they affect your maintenance procedures? This article describes some temperature-oriented methods for determining bearing health and life expectancy, both in the plant and in the field.

Purchasing Lubricants Based on Performance http://hubs.ly/H01lm0P0
Purchasing Lubricants Based on Performance There are other ways lubricants are acquired, but in each case, maintenance personnel don’t know why a product does or does not work; they simply accept the outside expert’s opinion. In these situations, maintenance workers may not realize there are several products in the plant with different brand names but similar characteristics. They may be unknowingly contributing to the proliferation of products in the plant. Without understanding what makes the products work, the maintenance person may be reluctant to consolidate. In this case, there is little encouragement for competition and no reason for any oil company to lower its prices. Naturally, maintenance personnel want their equipment to have the highest quality lubricants but at a reasonable price. How can this be accomplished?
