Louisiana State Police Cadet Class 109 has successfully completed Week 5 of training!

This week, our cadets received instruction in civil disturbance response and enhanced their lifesaving skills, reinforcing their ability to respond effectively and professionally in high-risk situations.

Additionally, the cadets trained in less-lethal techniques using Oleoresin Capsicum (OC) spray. As part of their training, each cadet was exposed to OC spray firsthand, allowing them to experience its effects and develop the confidence and resilience needed to perform their duties while overcoming its challenges.

With each passing week, Cadet Class 109 continues to build the knowledge, discipline, and mental toughness required to proudly serve the citizens of Louisiana as Louisiana State Troopers.

Training included report writing, crisis negotiation, and domestic terrorism, providing a strong foundation for the challenges they will face as future Louisiana State Troopers.
