The Baton Rouge Velodrome is a 333 meter bicycle track that is made for recreational and competitive cycling. Track cycling is very safe, fun, and worth a try!
Only track or fixed gear bikes are allowed to ride on the banked part of the track. There are currently 4 bicycles for rental in the park. The track is one of roughly 25 velodromes in the United States which makes it a unique venue to a special type to cycling. The track is open to the public and costs nothing to ride.
