Sessions on Sessions - House Concerts

🚨Stop the Presses! New Time for Celjun concert!
Now starting at 1:00PM on Sat, Sep 26.

Hey y'all! We've had a little hiatus, but this should make up for it 😁

So excited to announce 2 great shows to kick off the fall - you don't want to miss either of them!

Lafayette's own Celtic/ Cajun band Celjun is back - featuring:
🎶 Riverdance-famed/ best friend to Michael B Jordan/ hardest-working radio show host - Tony Davoren
🎶 Beausoleil-famed/ time-traveling fiddle phenom/ story-teller extraordinaire - Mitch Reed
🎶 This Is Spinal Tap 2-famed/ house concert host/ Baton Rouge-based Irish fluter - Pete Dawson

And on a serious note, a very dear friend and no stranger to Sessions on Sessions: guitarist Don Penzien will be coming back to the house, this time bringing along with him the legendary Seán Gavin, who's a phenomenal Irish flute and uillean piper. I'll be having a separate post on the 2 of them, but we're absolutely honored to have them come to our humble living room.

As always, I'll have a good pot of sumpn bubbling on the stove. We'd love to see you there!

Here we GO!!

Can't wait until our Sunday afternoon show in April! Who else is excited to see Mari Black?!

What a wonderful night we had with Randal and Don - thanks again, fellas! Coming up next, we've got another WONDERFUL fiddler on Sunday, April 13, at 4PM. We're so honored and excited to host multi-style fiddle virtuoso Mari Black, accompanied by the talented Kendall Rogers. More details to come, but you don't want to miss this!
