Poured 330 yards of concrete for The Best Stop plant expansion in Scott this morning between rain storms. Mother nature did not make this one easy. Great service from Port Aggregates, Louisiana Concrete Pumpers, Parish Foundation, and Josh Bourriague plumbing.

This facility has stainless steel slot drains throughout. Every room's floor is sloped in four directions. Recessed sections are for insulated slabs with electric defrost. 6" galvanized steel pipe bollards protect door openings and sliding doors. Lots of intricate details in a USDA facility.

What can we build for you?

We have gotten 12 inches of rain in the last 4 days at the Best Stop in Scott. It's fun trying to prep a foundation in this weather pattern. We poured 2" concrete dry bottoms in all of the grade beams and column footings before we placed the steel. We have relief trenches gravity draining 90% of the excavations routing the water to subsurface drainage protected with hay bales. We are staying pretty dry. Fun stuff! Where are the May flowers?
