From iconic wallpaper to perfectly placed lighting and unexpected textures—every shot is a small space making a big impression. Proof that great design lives in the details.

We have had the honor of assisting WHLC architecture with the design of the new UMB branch in New Roads.

ALD has been involved in every design decision, focused on maintaining the authentic Louisiana Creole style prevalent in Pointe Coupee Parish. We can’t wait to see the building and its gorgeous interior spaces come to life over the next few months!

What a fantastic evening celebrating TSG’s latest edition! It’s a privilege to be part of such a beautifully curated publication that celebrates local talent and timeless design. Thank you, TSG, for the recognition and for continuing to elevate the design community!

I can’t stop thinking about my visit last weekend to Lake Bruin with my dear friend Kate Seal. We were guests of her stepsister Becky Vizard, of renown. It was a treat to get a personal tour of her design studio, bursting with trims, silks and vestments, ready to become heirloom pillows and textiles. Everything about Locustland, the homestead she and her husband Michael have built, was beautifully curated, but never forced or too precious. I loved every little detailed collection and hearing the fun stories of how it all came together. I can’t wait to go back to this little slice of heaven!
