Congratulations to Instructor and Phd alum Dr. Ethan Hunter on the publication of his essay "An Articulation of the Aesthetic Tradition of Communication Theory for the Future of Performance Studies in Communication." Appearing in the journal Communication Theory, this essay addresses what Dr. Hunter characterizes as performance studies's "illegibility problem" in the communication field more broadly by situating it within the aesthetic tradition of communication theory.
