Another great day behind the Nikon!

I was recently asked to photograph Louisiana Longleaf Pine Trees for a client that was writing an article for The Longleaf Leader. One of my photos was selected for the cover of the newsletter and highlighted in the story about the Louisiana Ecological Forestry Center in Florine, LA.

It was time to up the game, just a tad! Just moved from DX to FX with a new Nikon D850. Will keep the two D7000's active. They have been such good cameras for 10+ years.

In two weeks - I am going to offer a Headshot Special. Keep an eye out for it.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. These are some pictures that I took back in 2016 of the Garafola Funeral Procession down Airline Highway. These were taken about 300 yards from where Deputy Garafola lost his life on (7/17/16) along with Baton Rouge P.D. Officer, Matthew Gerald and Baton Rouge P.D. Officer, Corp. Montrell Jackson.

Thank you for your dedication and service. Never forget how precious life is and never forget these brave individuals who lost their lives in the line of duty protecting the citizens of Baton Rouge, LA.
