Today, BRCC Upward Bound staff kicked the WERK off by volunteering at GEO Prep Academy for Dr. Seuss’s Reading Across America!

We had an amazing time interacting with Kindergarten through 2nd grade students reading, laughing, and celebrating the joy of literacy together. Seeing those bright smiles reminded us why we do what we do!

Happy National School Counselor Week! Our program celebrates the hard work of the school counselors at our partner schools. TRIO works becausr of great partners like Ms. at East Feliciana High School. Dr. Mills and Mr. Munson, members of the UBII team, showed their appreciation to Ms. Brown this week.

So far this month we are proud to share:
�✅ EOC successfully submitted APR and met all objectives�✅ UBI & UBII successfully submitted APR and met all objectives�✅ UB Programs preparing to host the first UB Saturday Academy on January 24�✅In honor of J23 (January 23rd), we captured half of the TRIO staff rocking their Jordans
