Established in 1957, the City Club of Baton Rouge has been downtown Baton Rouge’s premier private member club with a rich history. Offers unparalleled private dining, social events, entertainment and meeting venues, and business networking among a culturally diverse membership. Belonging to the City Club of Baton Rouge means being a part of an elite group of leaders who are shaping the business, philanthropic and civil landscape of our City, State and Region. For over 60 years, members represent all business sectors, generations and fields of expertise. We are united by a common commitment to our City and region and to a lifelong pursuit of personal and professional excellence. The City Club is a “home away from home” as well as an extension of the office. Conveniently located downtown on the corner of 4th Street and North Boulevard, the historic City Club boasts 14 meeting rooms, a second floor private ballroom and veranda. With its refined and sophisticated interior, the club features stunning 25-foot ceilings with antique brass chandeliers, coffered ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, dark mahogany woodwork, and beautiful oil paintings throughout. With the addition of the Garden Room and the Patio, the club can easily accommodate up to 250+ guests. A building of major historic and architectural significance, the Old Post Office is constructed in an eclectic Renaissance Revival style. It served as the U. Post Office from 1894 to 1935. It was renovated in 1935 and was used as the City Hall until 1955. We invite you to discover and explore the City Club of Baton Rouge.

A special evening at the City Club celebrating Walter Anderson with LSU Museum of Art 🖼️
On the eve of the exhibition opening at LSU MOA, members enjoyed stories and reflections from John G. Anderson, son of Walter Anderson, offering a personal look into the artist’s life and legacy.
We were honored to share such a meaningful evening with LSU MOA and our members as we celebrated one of the South’s most distinctive artistic voices.
Cocktail classes are officially back at the City Club! 🍋🟩
We kicked off the series with Daiquiri 101—an evening of shaking, sipping, and learning the art of the perfect daiquiri. A little technique, a few tasty variations, and plenty of fun along the way. Cheers to more cocktail classes to come!
