We would like to congratulate our Parliamentarian, Taylor LeDuff, for being a 2019 scholarship recipient for the Louisiana Judicial Commission/National Bar Association!
Taylor (pictured second from the left) had to write an essay analyzing whether the Louisiana State Bar Association violated members’ of the association rights when their mandatory dues were used to support causes contrary to their personal beliefs. The LJC/NBA selects one student from each of the four law schools in Louisiana as a scholarship winner each year.
The LJC/NBA held their annual luncheon at Dooky Chase’s Restaurant in New Orleans to honor their recipients. Thank you, Taylor, for not only representing Moot Court so well, but also Southern University Law Center!
Congratulations to our new Moot Court Board Members for the 2019-2020 academic year!
