Connections For Life

Helping women help themselves as they become independent members of our community. We are a one-year re-entry and transitional housing program accepting women coming primarily from prison. Each woman is provided an initially rent-free, fully furnished apartment, clothing, food, job placement assistance, financial management assistance and access to medical, mental health care and prescriptions. The woman begins contributing towards her expenses upon obtaining gainful employment and is required to begin a savings account, attend substance abuse meetings and volunteer in the program thrift store. Connections also operates a thrift store which serves to provide funding for the program and services the community where the store is located.
