Role Description

This is a permanent, full-time position for a Safety Consultant located in the Greater Baton Rouge area, with some flexibility for remote work.

The Safety Consultant will work directly with clients and be responsible for a variety of safety and compliance-related services, including:

* Jobsite and facility safety inspections and audits
* Occupational health and safety training
* Development and implementation of safety policies and procedures
* Client safety program management
* Incident investigations and corrective action development
* Project-specific safety management
* Claims and risk management support
* Contractor qualification and compliance management through ISNetworld, Avetta, and similar platforms
* Assistance during regulatory inspections involving OSHA, MSHA, DOT, EPA, and other agencies
* Providing ongoing safety guidance and technical support to clients

This position requires the ability to manage multiple clients and projects while maintaining strong communication, organization, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

**Minimum of 5 years of safety experience in construction and/or general industry**
* Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety & Health or a related field preferred
* CHST, CSST, COSS, or similar safety certifications recommended
* GSP, ASP, or CSP certification preferred
* Experience in commercial building construction, general contracting, and/or specialty trade contracting preferred
* Strong working knowledge of OSHA **29 CFR 1926 and 1910 regulations**
* Experience developing and delivering safety training
* Experience conducting safety inspections, audits, and incident investigations
* Experience with ISNetworld, Avetta, and other contractor qualification platforms preferred
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Spanish-speaking/bilingual candidates are a plus
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
* Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
* Ability and willingness to travel to client locations and jobsites as needed

Role Description

The Compliance Support Specialist will support the daily operations of our compliance team by managing contractor qualification platforms such as ISNetworld, Avetta, and other client compliance systems. This position is responsible for maintaining compliance documentation, coordinating client submissions, tracking certifications and deadlines, preparing audit documentation, and providing administrative support to ensure clients remain compliant.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
2+ years of administrative or office support experience preferred
Experience with ISNetworld, Avetta, or similar contractor qualification platforms preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Construction, industrial, or safety industry experience is a plus

Responsibilities

Manage client accounts within ISNetworld, Avetta, and other compliance platforms
Upload and maintain safety programs, insurance certificates, training records, OSHA documentation, and other required compliance documents
Monitor document expiration dates and coordinate renewals
Prepare and submit contractor prequalification packages
Maintain organized electronic filing systems and compliance records
Assist with client onboarding and ongoing account management
Prepare documentation for audits and compliance reviews
Generate reports and compile compliance data
Communicate with clients, vendors, insurance providers, and internal staff regarding compliance requirements
Process invoices and provide general administrative support
Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned
