Today the Catholic Church celebrates the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
It was great to see US Bishops consecrate our Nation to the Most Sacred Heart as we celebrate America’s 250th year.
I am proud to display this beautiful piece in the Governor’s Mansion as a reminder of Christ’s mercy and infinite love.

This is ridiculous. If he was fit to have a driver’s license, then he is fit to stand trial. Period. End of story!
Gad Black, accused of fatally running down BRPD Sgt. Caleb Eisworth, declared unfit for trial Black intentionally rammed his vehicle into Eisworth on a motorcycle on June 16.

‼️Big win today for Louisiana Shrimpers!!
I was down in Lafitte today with Rep. Kerner and our local shrimpers to sign HB 857 into law. This bill finally puts teeth behind the rules by penalizing the sale of unlabeled and commingled seafood.
We’re protecting Louisiana jobs and defending our seafood industry!
A historic day in Port Fourchon as we celebrated Shell’s Mars Platform producing ONE BILLION BARRELS of oil.
This milestone has never been achieved by a US facility either on land or water.
Never let anyone tell you that Louisiana is not the energy capital of the world!

When we announced the Meta Data Center in Richland Parish, I said this investment would touch every inch of the community.
This wasn’t just a catchy talking point— it was the truth.
Great to see our teachers reaping the benefits of this massive announcement!
Some Richland Parish teachers to receive $50K end-of-year checks due to Meta tax infusion It is typically issued in May or June and is based on revenue generated by sales taxes.
Proud to sign bills by State Representative Dixon McMakin and Kim Carver - State Representative to strengthen Louisiana Department of Children and Family Services!
