Meet Officer Parker!

Parker, a 4th grade student at University Laboratory School (ULS), spent yesterday alongside our very own Officer Landerman, School Resource Officer at ULS! She got a firsthand look at life in law enforcement and what it means to serve the LSU community and her peers at ULS while being an Officer for the day!

Today is also Parker’s Birthday, Happy Birthday Officer Parker, from the LSU Police Department 🚔

Today, the LSU Police Department pauses to remember and honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001.

We remember the victims, the families who continue to carry their loss, and the brave first responders who ran toward danger to protect others.

Twenty five years later, we will never forget their sacrifice, courage, and service. 💜💛

As we kicked off football season in Death Valley last night, LSU Police and Deputies, Officers and Troopers across the state from multiples agencies were on hand to assist.

All Law Enforcement partners were present and on hand to help keep our students, faculty, staff, and visitors safe as they experienced game day.

Thanks to all of our partners for assisting us with making game day successful! As law enforcement personnel took care of business outside, LSU Football took care of business inside the stadium. Game 1 was electric‼️ Geaux Tigers 💜💛🐅

🚨 LSU POLICE ARREST SUSPECT IN 13 VEHICLE BURGLARIES 🚨

LSU Police arrested a suspect in connection with a series of vehicle burglaries during routine patrols early this morning. The suspect, Jeron Andre Green, 30, was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on 13 counts of La. R.S. 14:62 Simple Burglary.

During the investigation, officers determined that all of the vehicles involved had been left unlocked. LSU Police strongly encourage everyone to:

• Lock your vehicle every time you leave it; it's the best way to prevent theft.
• Take your keys with you.
• Do not leave valuables visible inside your vehicle.
